I'm trying to use emacsclient in conjuction with the workgroups package for emacs. However, I have one major annoyance; whenever I invoke emacsclient -c from the command line and open a file, the file loads in the currently activated workgroup. Additionally, whenever I create frames, the new frame is a mirrored copy of the current workgroup. When i call emacsclient or create a new frame, I want just the file alone in the frame (either the file that was opened or the buffer that I was on when i invoked make-frame).

Any advice for how to do this? Thanks!
