I am currently using emacs to use devnagari-itrans as coding method for entering hindi characters. After googling some i found command to show all possible character list in separate buffer. It displays devnagari text along with English keyboards. Can some body suggest me emacs command?

  • Please clarify what you want the command to do. – Dan Dec 24 '16 at 0:12
  • I want to see english keyboard entry and corresponding character in devnagari-transcript. – prasad Dec 24 '16 at 0:21
  • sorry, it's not clear what you mean by "english keyboard entry" or "devnagari-transcript." Do you mean you want to know what letter x on the English (QWERTY?) keyboard layout gives you when entering Devnagari? – Dan Dec 24 '16 at 0:25
  • Yes. I remember some command shows complete list in separate buffer as table of pairs of QWERY key and corresponding devnagari character. – prasad Dec 24 '16 at 0:35

Maybe input-method not "coding method"? If so, M-x describe-input-method and press TAB to autocomplete to the input method you are using. – wvxvw Dec 24 '16 at 20:00
