I put into .dir-locals.el:

((nil . ((eval . (message "OK")))))

I don't see message when I revert-buffer for file in directory.

I can't find docs about eval + mode in Emacs v25 info.

Are those special keys removed?

In https://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/manual/html_node/emacs/Directory-Variables.html I see text:

You can specify the variables mode, eval, and unibyte in your .dir-locals.el, and they have the same meanings as they would have in file local variables. coding cannot be specified as a directory local variable.

There is no such text in my v25.3.1 info...
