I like to use jump-to-register to jump between areas in my src code. IDK if this is built-into emacs but from a spacemacs when I am about to type the register key to jump, a helpful popup comes up which tells me the file and line number to which I am about to jump. (see figure) However, it would really be more useful if I could get the function name with which I am about to jump inside rather than a line number. Is this possible? I was thinking it might be possible to fill in this info using the functionality in which-function-mode but I am not really sure how to proceed. Any thoughts?
