I have installed Slime and Paredit (
M-x package-install paredit) and I have configured it in my
~/.emacs too like this:
(setq inferior-lisp-program "/usr/local/bin/sbcl") (add-hook 'eval-expression-minibuffer-setup-hook 'enable-paredit-mode) (add-hook 'slime-repl-mode-hook 'enable-paredit-mode)
Now I know those are very few hooks for Paredit but for this question only these two hooks are required, so in the interest of providing a minimal example of my issue, I present the above code example with two hooks only.
What works fine: If I open eval-expression minibuffer (
M-:) and type
(, the corresponding
) gets automatically inserted, so Paredit is working fine in eval-expression minibuffer. Similarly, if I open SLIME REPL (
M-x slime) and type
( in the REPL, the
) gets automatically insesrted, so Paredit is working fine in SLIME REPL too.
What does not work: If I open Slime eval minibuffer (
C-c :) and type
(, nothing happens. Paredit isn't working in Slime eval minibuffer.
Is there a hook to add
'enable-paredit-mode to, so that Paredit works fine in SLIME eval minibuffer too?
