When I open a FORTRAN source file 'mod_module.f90' that defines a module 'mod_module' and another file named 'mod_module.mod' is present in the same directory, the later one gets deleted. This only affects doom, regular Emacs does not delete the file.

In general, it makes sense that the *.mod file gets deleted once it source file is changed, so I think it's a feature not a bug. However, my make rules take care of this already, and they break if the file gets deleted by Emacs. So how can I prevent doom's f90 mode from deleting module files when opening the corresponding source file?
