New to Emacs and I'm using Doom Emacs.

Here is the documentation I'm following: https://github.com/hlissner/evil-multiedit

First, I can't find the 'evil-multiedit-default-keybinds' that it mentions. But then I noticed that the commands pallete already shows some keybinds.

When I try to execute evil-multiedit-match-and-next it shows (M-d) as the keybind. It even says so at bottom that I should use M-d if I execute the command in the pallete by hitting return. But in the actual editor if I try to use M-d it says: I-Search Backward: [No Previous Search String].

I have not created any new keybinds myself. I'm just very much working on defaults so far. How can I fix this?
