I'm trying to indent a C# file, but when I lsp-format-buffer, it just says
No formatting changes provided
..in the echo area.
Any way to figure out what that means?;)

lsp-modereceived no edits from the language server. That could be because the formatter crashed, there were no changes from formatting orlsp-modethinks the server supports formatting when it doesn't. You'll have to try formatting said code with your language server outside oflsp-modeand see what happens (ie. via your server's command line client).
