Spacemacs terminal emulator share history with zsh
In plain vanilla emacs, I can M-x term RET RET. This starts zsh. And it 'shares' history with my non-emacs terminals.
So, I can ESC / and search for commands, etc. …

In order to supress both these features in terminal, I added the following to ~/.emacs:
(add-hook 'term-mode-hook … (lambda () (linum-mode -1)))
(add-hook 'term-mode-hook (lambda () (hl-line-mode -1)))
Now when I M-x term RET /bin/zsh RET, it produces an unusable terminal. …
