How do I ediff a buffer against a revision?
Emacs is doing what you told it to do instead of what you meant. ediff-revision asks for three pieces of information:
The file to work on — default: the file that the current buffer is visiting. … You can only select the current buffer state for revision 2, not for revision 1 (this is built into ediff-vc-internal). …
