20 years ago Emacs horrified me. Wow, too many key bindings, too much functionality!

Some 5 years ago, Emacs wondered me. Wow, so many key bindings, so much functionality!

And org-mode...

The secret? A good read of the introductory chapters of the info pages, to get a decent overall picture - and get the hang of those weird "C-a M-b S-c d" key sequences and then use one bit at a time. Then another.

I wish I knew more than nearly nothing of (E)Lisp... (only enough to understand basic code)
